Synopsis: The Lost Story (Colored)

During his 33-year reign, Emperor Kangxi released a proclamation called "The Relocation of Huguang People to Sichuan". This edict demanded that inhabitants from different regions including Hunan, Hubei, and Guangdong relocate to Sichuan, which ultimately became known as "Huguang to Sichuan". Various individuals questioned whether there had been military conflicts that had diminished the populace of the former Land of Abundance, while others speculated that there was a certain allure in Sichuan that compelled people to settle there.
